My 4th blog post ever, during my first week of blogging, was a St. Patrick’s day dinner post. There were a few problems with this post, (the poor quality picture being among them) but the biggest “oops” was that I didn’t post it until 8:37 p.m. on March 16th.
While it was fun for me, it wasn’t really enough time for my readers (all 5 of them) to benefit from the post (okay, it isn’t hard to dye pasta green – I was a poor college kid and it fit the budget- but you get the point).

Thanks for post, I always have your typical green beer for St Patty’s day haha. Thanks for the blog post and food ideas.
Thank you! I count on these posts to help me decide how to blog for each holiday!
I debated doing one for St. Patrick’s day, it’s kind of random holiday to me, but a fun one to do green themed posts!
Kristie,
For some reason I am not getting your post updates via Bloglovin’ so if you see me unsubscribe and then resubscribe, I promise I’m not on crack. π
I love these – thank you so much! I think I’ll work on an ‘Irish Sayings’ printable.
Thanks for the warning! You are currently, subscribed. Hopefully you get the updates. I wonder if anyone else has that problem. Keep me posted!
I have never gotten St. Paddy’s day….. For some reason everyone thinks that being British I should celebrate it. Nope, there is a body of water between Ireland and Great Britain π I only really knew about it after Chicago dyed the river green!!!
As for April Fools, OMG my dad used to do really LARGE April Fools day pranks that my sister and I stopped answering the door or phone on this day, it was scary!!!! π I will check out this blogger to see her April Fools post π
xoxoxo
Haha. One of the other most popular searches is “Why do we celebrate St. Patrick’s day?”
Thanks so much Kristie. I especially appreciate the keywords – so helpful!!!
You’re welcome Melissa, have fun writing your St. Patrick’s Day posts.
